Nest learning e says no power to Y yet it’s connected

Message says no power to Y yet it’s connected. Battery is over 3.9 so it doesn’t seem to be battery. do I even need the Y wire in the winter if I’m not using AC?not sure what else to do to get the heat on. Help….please. It’s 17 degrees outside. Brrrr...

I have a problem with how the Nest thermostat works. Can somebody enlighten me? Humidifier is supposed to be on only with furnace heat. This nest device will turn on the fan even after heat is off. This isn’t normal. It should only call for humidity ...
